  1. Back in the Spring I purchased 3 summer dresses from Cevaf after a piece of direct advertising. I tried them on, decided they needed shortening and put them in the back of the wardrobe. A few weeks ago I got them out and with the help of a friend pinned up the hems. Then I decided I did not want one of the dresses. It didn’t fit me comfortably and I thought I would try returning it for a refund although after all this time I was not very hopeful. I found your web page while hunting for a Cevaf website and an address for returns. Now I don’t think I’ll bother. I may try to sell the third dress locally or even give it to a charity shop. Of the other two dresses, both I like and one I like very much indeed. I am in the middle of shortening them and found the fabric very difficult to cut and handle, worse than real silk which is bad enough! I was also a bit bothered to find that, although there was a wash-care label, there was no manufacturer’s label and no information about the fabric. It is obviously synthetic, but that is all. So I have mixed feelings. Obviously I will be able to judge the two of them better when I have worn and washed them satisfactorily. After reading your article, I think I will not buy from Cevaf again, but my experience so far would not have turned me against them without your condemnation. I have not to date noticed any irregularities on my credit card account.
